Yosemite in May

Last May we visited the national park Yosemite. We stayed there for 3 days, and had a blast exploring the park and seeing the sites. About 30 kids came in all, and no one was left out or bored mostly.

While there, we had some rather interesting cooking experiences. The one best patrols were the Eagles, for they had not one problem. Aside from the cooking, the whole trip went rather well.

USS Pampanito in March

Last march we visited the decommissioned WW2 submarine the USS Pampanito in San Francisco. It was a rather interesting trip, as we were sleeping in the submarine, which has somewhat cramped quarters .

We had a lot of fun in San Francisco, and on the Pampanito, excluding the quarters. After we slept on the sub, we got to explore San Francisco a bit, which was interesting. It still took awhile to get used to the fact that the ground doesn’t sway after being on the sub.

As many of you hopefully guessed, I’m a member of Troop 635. It is an excellent troop, full of surprises, and always fun. We have many events over the year, many of which help the community, or are just for enjoyment. You should come and check us out!
